The free consultation allows us to get to know each other a little to make sure we’re the right fit. You can tell me a bit of what brings you to counselling and I can share with you how can help. It also allows us to go over some policies so that doesn’t take away from your counselling time in your first session. There is no actual counselling during a consultation, it is a time for introductions.

A link will be sent to you by JaneApp (the booking system) 30-minutes prior to your appointment. If you're on your phone it will ask you to download an app, and if you're using your browser, it will tell you it prefers Chrome (but I use firefox all the time and it's fine). If you have any technical difficulties while you're trying to start up, just send me an email and we'll make sure we can get it sorted.

Yes, I am set up do provide direct billing through Blue Cross and Telus e-Claims (which handles most extended benefits companies). As we set up the consultation to ensure we’re a good fit, we can check to see if your insurance company allows for direct billing for counsellors.

Yes, I am registered with ICBC and I am set up to do direct billing through ICBC’s Recovery Network. ICBC does provide benefits to immediate family members that have suffered a loss due to a motor vehicle accident. We can discuss what needs to happen to get this set up during a free consultation.

Both! You can book online anytime, and in-person sessions are only on Mondays.
